A passionate "Car Guy" since childhood our Master Tech, John Decker, served as a certified auto technician for over 15 years on some of the industry's most premium auto brands.
John left the car industry to pursue an opportunity to own his own business. Just after getting married he and his wife, Rachel, took over a long-established vacuum cleaner & appliance repair business in Red Bank, NJ.
Together, they leveraged their work ethic, friendly personalities, and collective skills (in mechanical and electrical repair, sales, customer service, marketing, and graphic design) and grew the seemingly archaic business to heights no one expected!

Despite leaving his mechanic job at the dealership in 2003, John never ceased to feed his passion for cars...
He continued in the automotive trade, behind the scenes, all these years. John's always personally maintained the family's fleet daily drivers and helped out friends on the side. But his best work's been done on his collection of
Despite leaving his mechanic job at the dealership in 2003, John never ceased to feed his passion for cars...
He continued in the automotive trade, behind the scenes, all these years. John's always personally maintained the family's fleet daily drivers and helped out friends on the side. But his best work's been done on his collection of custom-built sports cars.
Rachel (proud daughter of a "Hot Rodder") typically pitches in via detailing, headliner installation, wrench-passing, brake-bleeding, bodywork, trans-lifting, and engine-hoisting!)
In time, they also created a small eBay store as a complementary and lucrative side business.
But it turns out, that difficult circumstances were the catalyst John and Rachel needed to finally follow their dreams... In 2022, they decided to take John's "hobby" to the next level by offering some of his valuable skills to the community. Queen Automotive Group, LLC was officially formed...!
John still helps Rachel, who dutifully runs their original, primary business, Queen Vacuum, Yet he is excited about the opportunity to SWITCH GEARS a bit and go back to his roots!"
